I have studied with Trish King at the Marin Humane Society and graduated from her Canine Behavior Academy. I joined the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and held the title of CPDT-KA. I have continually educated myself through relevant seminars and conferences, shadowing other dog professionals, studying books and attending webinars.

I taught basic and intermediate dog training classes at the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society for 16 years, gathering valuable experience working with small and large, fearful and assertive dogs, young puppies and older and wiser souls - and everything in between. I have trained dogs for theater performances and private family events.

I am dedicated to positive reinforcement - it creates change so effortlessly, is based in science and I keep experiencing and witnessing its contribution to a strong bond and trustworthy relationship between human and animal.
